With three degrees under her belt in journalism, e-commerce and a Masters in fashion journalism, Shannon Wylie has had a successful career as a digital editor and journalist spanning 12 years across Australia and the Middle East. During this time Shannon has been at the forefront of some of the world’s largest digital companies, headhunted to take the helm. She excelled in merging intellect with the internet, most recently as the Editor-in-Chief of Buro 24/7 Middle East and prior to that as the Weekend Editor of Popsugar Australia, Editor and Social Media Manager at Souq Fashion (Souq.com) – which was acquired by Amazon – and as the Online Editor of Ahlan! Live, an ITP digital publication.
Aside from the coveted roles she’s held, Shannon’s written work, styling and interviews with revered creatives and entrepreneurs including Alessandro Michele, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, Rita Ora, Adriana Lima, Jimmy Choo, Kevin Spacey, Poppy Delevingne, Mohammed Al Habtoor, Jo Malone, Marco Pierre White, Brian Atwood and Elle Macpherson have appeared in top international titles worldwide including Harper’s Bazaar, Grazia, OK!, HELLO! and Cleo. Shannon’s also co-authored the Zagat Dubai City Guide, edited PUMA’s book Fishtail Rides and her non-fiction fashion papers have too been published in world-renowned style journals.
